Anita, the founder of Zinia, discovered the unique art of Robby Smets and was immediately enchanted by his expressive, colorful style. Thus was born the idea of bringing his art to life on our handbags.
Robby’s work is known for its playful, vibrant colors and striking textures, often in his signature “Tutti Frutti” style. For this collaboration, we transformed Robby’s iconic artwork into stylish handbags that are real eye-catchers. Each bag is a piece of wearable art, full of energy and joie de vivre.

In addition to using Robby’s colorful art on the bags, his iconic “Obby” will not be missing. Obby, an adorable garden gazer that has captured the hearts of many, will be added to each bag as a charming keychain. Robby’s story is as inspiring as his work. After searching for affordable art for his new home, he began painting on his own in 2005. What began as a hobby grew into a successful career, aiming to make people happy with his colorful creations.

Robby Smets unleashes his creativity on our existing collection of handbags, shoes and accessories, transforming them into unique works of art. Each splash of paint is applied with passion and precision, resulting in enchanting designs.
To honor these masterpieces, the handbags are available with a matching wooden storage case so they can be safely stored like true works of art.
Limited Edition Knokke - SmetsArt
For the exclusive Knokke – SmetsArt collection, Robby and Anita put their heads together to create a unique and versatile concept. Robby’s signature style is subtly applied to the handles of the bags.
We also added a playful element: a painted sea creature referring to the seaside town of Knokke-heist. The nice thing is that you can choose which sea creature accompanies your bag and can easily switch between the different animals, adding a personal touch.
