Leather is alive and just like us, it changes with time, so it is important to treat it with great care and love. Below we would like to give you some tips to take care of your Zinia products in the best possible way.
Store your handbag properly. Sunlight and moisture are the biggest enemies of leather accessories, so store your bag in a dark and dry place. Use our dustbags to protect your bag from dust, moisture, dirt and sunlight. Stuff your handbag with newspaper to keep its shape and absorb moisture. Direct sunlight can fade the color and dry out the leather. Therefore, do not leave your bag in direct sunlight for too long.
Clean your handbag regularly with a soft slightly damp cloth. In case of stains, use a mild cleaner or leather cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that can damage the leather or fabric. Always test your product on a small inconspicuous piece of leather first.
To prevent the leather from wrinkling and drying out, we recommend feeding it every 2-3 months. To do this, use a leather conditioner that contains fats and/or oils to moisturize and restore the leather. This will keep your bag waterproof and keep the leather and color looking their best.
Finally, use a leather protector or water-repellent spray to protect your handbag from stains and water damage.
